HIS SIRE; Diamond Hit was proclaimed VTV-Dressage Stallion of the Year in 2005. Based on his own performances and on those of his offspring, Diamond Hit currently captures eight place on the ranking of all German breeding stallions. Diamond Hit descends from the best bloodlines. His sire Don Schufro, who has been leading the FN-Breeding Value Index since 2001, is currently competed by the Danish Andreas Helgstrand at Grand Prix level. His dam, Elite Mare Loretta, produced licensed sons Sandro Hit, Diamond Hit and Royal Hit, making her the source of one of the most successful Oldenburg mare lines of her generation. Ramino and Welt As complete Diamond Hit’s pedigree and are world class performance sires. HIS DAM'S SIRE: Weltmeyer What more can be said about Weltmeyer? He is a legend. As the AHS put it, "Weltmeyer continues to almost single-handedly reshape the Hanoverian breed." He was the 1986 winner of the stallion licensing in Verden, and the 1987 winner of the stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf. In the same year Weltmeyer also won the three-year-old stallions classification at the Federal Championships of German Riding Horses in Warendorf. In 1988 he was honoured in Verden as best stallion of his age-group and awarded with the "Freiherr von Stenglin-Prize". One year later he became DLG Champion 1989 in Frankfurt. And last but not least he became "Hanoverian Stallion of the Year" in 1998. As of today, Weltmeyer has produced 70 licensed sons, all of them are excellent stallions. A study of the pedigrees of many internationally prominent Hanoverian dressage horses reveals that many are either by sons of Weltmeyer or out of one of his daughters. At the 2002 Ratje Niebuhr-Show, Weltmeyer was the leding sire. Out of 51 mares which placed first through third in 17 classes, Weltmeyer sired eight, including champion SPS Wiami and and reserve champion Wicke. Overall, his blood was present in one third of all the mares, by from 25% to 50% percent. When it comes to capacity for dressage and the temperament necessary for a top competitor, this stallion simply cannot be beaten. In 2005, Weltmeyer received a Breeding Value Index of 152 points, with an assurance of 99% heritability, from the German Equestrian Federation. DISNEYLAND CSH will have full BHHS pink papers. He will be branded,
regularly seen by the farrier & wormed. He is very easy to handle & has
a happy disposition. He is available at weaning at the end of September.
He really will make a super horse for someone looking for the perfect
package. |

HIS SIRE; HIS DAM'S SIRE: Dauphin Dauphin is a typey Donnerhall son from an outstanding motherline developed at Groenwohldhof where his sire stood for breeding. The dam side brings an additional legacy of performance blood to the stellar heritage of Dauphin’s legendary father. There are three older sisters who have already earned their SPS or EM status and additionally have shown in competitions. Marefield was fortunate when Dauphin was invited to join 49 other colts in the 11-Month Stallion Performance Test at Adelheidsdorf. He was the only privately-owned stallion of the group and he was given the headstall number 50. His earnest work ethic seemingly indicated that he was trying hard to prove the number on his bridle wouldn’t determine the rank of his standing at the end of the training period. The German breeders who followed the young stallions as they progressed in their careful and thorough program were favorably impressed with Dauphin’s swinging back and happy attitude. “For him it’s like play; the riding is a game to him,” was the report from one breeder who viewed Dauphin at the first public presentation of the training group; and those who visited him in his stall commented on his kind nature and good manners. He wore the family mantle well throughout those months and also showed a sturdy toughness–never yet asked of any of his sisters–when he made it through the entire training and testing period barefoot. There were quite a few in this group of young stallions who were highly talented in jumping but Dauphin managed to hold his own by finishing in the middle of the pack, a surprising placement for a horse from bloodlines that typically are considered almost exclusively for dressage. By the end of the test he had earned a score in dressage that ranked him fourth in the group, and Dauphin was invited to remain at Celle on breeding lease.

Sire:
Weltmeyer
|
|
Profile:
Stallion of the Year 1998 |
|
|
Weltmeyer,
what a name, what a horse, what a sire. From the moment Herman Meyer
presented this stallion at the 1986 Stallion Approval in Verden, the
judges and other breeders were dazzled by his performance. His name, "ruler
of the world", his victory at the stallion approval and later
at the national championships and DLG- representation was a prophecy
which he successfully fulfilled. He sired 51 approved stallions for
the Hanoverian association, he produced champions in the stallion performance
tests and bundeschampionships.
His daughters also belong to the class of top quality mares; 150 mares became State Premium Mare and in mares tests a large collection of his fillies can be found in the top five. With a dressage index of 189 points Weltmeyer belongs to the 10 best Dressage Sires in the World. The National broodmare show of 1998 became a real Weltmeyer festival. Bronze medal winner in the five year old division of the Bundeschampionships was Weltino (Weltmeyer x Gelria/T), ridden by Holga Finken who also steered White Magic to a fourth place in the stallion class. But also at international level, the first Weltmeyer descendants are achieving. Ellen Schulten Baumer became European Junior Rider Champion with the Weltmeyer x Marbod mare Weserperle S and Holga Finken is also competing Wie Weltmeyer at Grand Prix level. The chestnut Weltmeyer is by World Cup I, who himself has been 'Stallion of the Year'. Besides Weltmeyer, Werther, World Cup I, Argentan, Espri, Don Juan and Gralsritter are members of this special Hall of Fame. |
